Part 1 Before we start

Before I begin to tell the tale I think showing off a little bling would be appropriate. The cottage is finished at this point and we rent it on Air B&B which proves another point that what one person looks at as useless waste another can gather those old materials, reassemble them and yet another person will gratefully pay you money to sleep in it! The cottage is magical, warm and inviting. Though the process was fairly complicated the finished effect needed to be absolutely calming. While it was difficult it needed to seem as though it just kind of happened. When I was just digging holes in the ground a friend of mine mentioned Feng Shui. I had no idea what he was talking about so I asked him to explain. He said for a room to be really great it had to have a flow. Door and window placement needed to be placed correctly for instance, when you enter the door you can see straight out the window on the opposite side unobstructed. All of the angles are geometric and so the lines are not confused. As you walk around the building you can see through one window and straight back out another. The layout makes sense and is not chaotic but rather calming. So before I even get into the story, lets just look at some pictures! enjoy
